My neighbor comes by yesterday asking me if i wanted some old computer he found. I didn’t really care too much but he was going to toss it if I didn’t take it. I said what the hell let me take a look maybe it will work better then my current rig for my CarPC. It was actually pretty decent, a Compaq S4000NX:
- 2.4Ghz Celeron
- 128mb Ram (Ouch!)
- CD-RW
- 40GB Hard drive
- XP Home COA — YAY!
The hard drive made a horrible whine when we plugged it in and the floppy drive is dead–both are easily fixed, I got stacks lying around. Now only if the car it’s going into ran…
