Hi there, My name is Mike. I heard u like mudkips too?

I work in IT during the daytime at a local high school for a school district here in South Florida.  I also have my own consulting/web hosting/game server company, Requeny Solutions.  In my spare time I develop open-source software--checkout my SourceForge.net profile or GitHub profile to see what I'm currently working on.

Consulting wise I mainly setup file servers, content filters, internet gateways, managed VPN's and other good fun stuff.  I've done a fair share of home automation work on the side as well.

I enjoy any kind of technology--not just IT, home automation, security systems, CCTV, access control, home theater, energy monitoring, tinkering with circuits, etc.

I also help run an IRC network, Abducted.us. We are close to breaking into the top100 largest IRC networks (or perhaps have already...)
